Scenic spot introduction:

Jiaxiu Tower, located on Aoji Stone in Nanming River, Guiyang City, was first built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty and is a historical and cultural landmark of Guiyang. The three story wooden attic is built along the river, with red beams and blue tiles reflecting in the water, making it the "number one scenic spot in southern Guizhou". Inside the building, there are ancient authentic stone tablets and wood carving art, showcasing the cultural heritage of Guiyang. The surrounding attractions such as Cuiwei Garden and Fuyu Bridge complement each other, making it an excellent place to appreciate the charm of central Guizhou.

Scenic Area Map - Introduction to Scenic Spots:

Jiaxiu Building: The main building has three floors, with raised corners and carved doors and windows, and is brightly lit at night.

Cuiwei Garden: Adjacent to Jiaxiu Tower, integrating Jiangnan gardens with Guizhou ethnic architecture, it houses ancient qin, calligraphy and painting.

Fuyu Bridge: Connecting the two banks, with willows hanging by the bridge and lotus flowers blooming in summer.

Nanming River: Passing through the city, you can stroll along the river or take a boat tour.

Tour route:

Entrance (by the Nanming River) → Fuyu Bridge → Jiaxiu Tower (up the tower for a distant view) → Cuiwei Garden (tourist garden) → Return along the river, the whole journey takes about 1.5 hours.

Best viewing season:

Recommendation: In spring and autumn, the climate is pleasant, flowers bloom and leaves are green, and the night lighting effect is excellent.

Not recommended: Rainy summers and slippery bridge decks; Winter is chilly and windy by the river.

Scenic Area Transportation:

High speed railway: Take Metro Line 1 from Guiyang North Station to Pengshui Reservoir Station, then transfer to a bus or take a taxi (about 30 minutes, cost about 20 yuan).

Airport: Take the airport bus from Longdongbao Airport to the city center, then transfer to a bus (about 40 minutes, cost about 30 yuan).

Urban area: There are multiple direct bus routes within the city (such as routes 15 and 48), and taking a taxi costs about 15 yuan.

Self driving: navigate to "Jiaxiu Building Parking Lot", the parking fee is about 5 yuan/hour.

Ticket and paid items:

Jiaxiu Building: Free access (main building requires ID registration).

Cuiwei Garden: Admission fee is 5 yuan per person.

Nanming River Cruise: 30 yuan/person during the day, 50 yuan/person at night (including light show).

Special precautions:

Opening hours: 8:00-22:00 (entry to the main building stops at 21:00).

Prohibited from bringing fire and pets inside; Protect cultural relics and do not touch carvings.

The main building is closed for maintenance every Monday (excluding statutory holidays).

Luggage Deposit:

There is a storage area at the entrance of the scenic area, where small luggage costs 10 yuan per piece and large luggage costs 20 yuan per piece, and can be picked up on the same day.
