Wunu Island

1. History

Legend has it that Wu Nu was the goddess of water control in ancient Huizhou, who turned the sky lantern into stars to illuminate the night sky and protect the people. 2. Attractions

• Wuxian Hall: Hui style building, dedicated to the God of Wealth. The carved beams and paintings in the hall display the traditional Huizhou wood carving and stone carving crafts, which are solemn and elegant, and visitors can learn about the folk beliefs of Huizhou here.

• Baoyu Pagoda: The landmark building of the resort, more than 30 meters high. Climb the tower to overlook the entire resort, and the Hui-style architecture and the lake reflect each other, especially at night, when the lights are bright and the scenery is charming.

• Huishi Street: The antique street brings together many Wuyuan specialty food shops, such as Qingming fruit, steam cake, etc., as well as traditional handicraft shops, where tourists can taste food and buy souvenirs while strolling.
